We currently have an open spot for the Big Data Developer position in Osijek. The candidate to join our young and dynamic team must be able to take initiative, collaborate with others and effectively handle unexpected situations. If you are confident in your competences, ambitious and determined to succeed, you might be the person we need.
Responsibilities and tasks include:
- · Good knowledge of database structures, theories, principles, and practices
- · Helping with the architecture and implementation of big data system
- · High-speed querying, managing and deploying of hadoop database
- · Maintaining security and data privacy
- · Creating scalable and high-performance web services for data tracking
- · Identifying competitive advantages and formulating recommendations
- · Troubleshooting problems and issues
Required technical skills:
- · Degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or students in the final year of university)
- · Basic understanding of Business Intelligence
- · Experience in data warehousing principles an advantage
- · Data ingestion, data processing and data modelling process
- · Solid experience in object-oriented programming and design patterns preferred
- · Familiarity with Linux, Hadoop, Cassandra, Spark, Cloudera, R, Python, Scala preferred
