What will you do?

  • Design, develop, and maintain software solutions using Java
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop software solutions that meet those needs
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices and coding standards
  • Perform unit testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve software defects
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends in software development and apply them to the design and development of new software solutions
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure the quality and maintainability of code
  • Contribute to a positive work culture by collaborating with colleagues and promoting a supportive and collaborative environment

What do you need to succeed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (Min 2:1)
  • Experience with Java, C++, C# or .Net
  • Familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Not essential but great to have

  • Experience working with Cloud solutions (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
  • Knowledge and experience of DevOps
  • Work placement in a software engineering role
